How did the Vine Guardians start?
We were contacted in 2021 by our friend Wendy Gedney, owner of Vin en Vacances (wine and food tours company). Wendy had heard of the terrible frosts of that April which had badly affected us and many other viticulteurs in our region and beyond and she, along with her colleague Kate, wanted to help out in some way.
With this in mind they created the Guardian program, which was launched in June 2021 and we have to say, has been a fantastic success!
What is the Vine Guardian program?
You can sign up to become the guardian of a row of organic vines in the Minervois region at our organic, family-run vineyard.
Included with your yearly guardianship:
Your name on a row of our vines -10% discount on wine purchases - Quarterly newsletters - Vine Trails Map - Free use of picnic area - Invitation to free annual tasting and Apéro - Invitations to paid events in the vineyard.

Sunday September the 15th
Harvesting for our Carthagène
Come and pick grapes to make the first Vignoble Puy Carthagène!
This will start at 10am and finish at lunchtime with some sausage and pâté at the vines, and a glass of wine of course!

Harvest Plancha!
This year we are planning our annual harvest picnic….
which this year will be the Harvest Plancha!
Emmanuel will be preparing some meat on the plancha and there will be plenty of salads, cheese etc to accompany this.
Emmanuel and I are offering the aperitif wine and if you would like any more wine of course it will be available by the glass or the bottle.
We are hosting this event in the evening, from 6.30pm and the price is 25€pp.
(Wendy will be coming from the Caunes/Villeneuve area with her mini van so if anyone would like to book transport it is 15€pp)

A series of fun sketch workshops based on life in the vineyards throughout the year in association with Languedoc Vine Guardians.
Live sketching sessions in the winery or vineyard: 5 September 2024 and 31 October 2024
If you are unable to attend an event in Roubia, Annette will also be recording workshops every month that you can enjoy from anywhere in the world! ‘A Year in the Vines‘ gives you the chance to sketch from the comfort of your own home. These online classes will follow activities at Vignoble Puy throughout the year so are a wonderful way to develop your sketch techniques whilst staying in touch with news from Leanne and Emmanuel. Follow the series and capture your own ‘year in the vines’ at Vignoble Puy!

The picnic spot
